Program starts:
April 2026
Designed with the spirit of a hackathon, curation of an accelerator, and structure of a cohort-based course, Uniswap Hook Incubator guides devs through every step of launching a hook, no matter how complex.
DeFi has become increasingly customizable & composable, accelerating the transition from centralized to decentralized exchanges. Uniswap v4 introduces new architectural upgrades that significantly reduce the cost of pool creation & transactions making it cheaper for developers to innovate and users to interact with the protocol.
The flexibility & customization of hooks brings fast, expressive AMM innovation within one powerful ecosystem. There's never been a better opportunity for devs to create assets that improve LP profitability or create better trade prices for users. If you're building a DeFi protocol that does lending, perks, or leverage of any sort, hooks can fit right into your product strategy. Let the innovation begin.

I had a chance to speak with quite a few other participants throughout the course and one could tell you did your work selecting people for the cohort. No doubt each and every prize won will have been hard earned. I'll take this opportunity to thank you again for including me in this cohort, it was truly a fantastic learning opportunity. The workshops were very well thought, the format of providing the lesson and code ahead of the workshop, then going through the workshop worked very well for me. The office hours were also very useful.
Experienced DeFi mechanism designers and protocol engineers delivering guest talks and AMAs
Engineers and leaders from Uniswap Foundation and Labs hosting office hours and advising projects
Investors from crypto-native funds involved as demo day judges and advisors for select projects.

Background
During the final 3 weeks of the Uniswap Hook Incubator, developers build a 'capstone hook' using the skills gained in the first 6 weeks. This culminates in a live Demo Day, where top teams present to investors, researchers, and builders.
From the first seven cohorts, nearly 500 graduating developers have shipped 400+ unique hooks, earning $235,000+ in prizes. Several projects have gone on to secure grant and VC funding.
Incentives
While most devs in the program might be intrinsically motivated to practice what they’ve learned with a concrete project, we can’t help but highlight the benefits of joining the hookathon.
$25k
$25,000 in prizes every cohort
Sponsors like Uniswap Foundation, Eigenlayer, Chainlink, Circle, and Arbitrum grant contribute to the developer prize pool
Prizes are split across multiple winners to benefit more devs.
We've awarded over $200k to developers historically
